Meet The Owner

Hello my name is Eva Garner, and I am a Personal Trainer & Registered Radiologic  Technologist. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years. Because I have a strong passion for helping people, I built, established, and opened the Odyssey Health Spa & Fitness Inc. in September of 2003. 

It was always a dream of mine to own a health facility that offered all aspects of health and wellness. In 2003 I was able to put this dream into action. 

I have obtained a 2nd degree black belt and competed and placed in Martial Arts across the Southern States. I also competed and placed in Body Building Competitions in the NPC Bikini Division. I have certifications in several areas of fitness including Group Fitness, Zumba, Personal Training, Self Defense, and Spin. In 2018, I expanded and opened Weiss Lake CrossFit. And in 2021, I partnered with New Image Weight Loss and opened up a clinic here in Centre. I earned a BA degree in, Integrated Studies / exercise Science and MA, Integrated Studies / criminal justice at Jacksonville State University

The Odyssey awards a Criminal Justice Scholarship to JSU through the Val Courtney Memorial Fund Raising Program.

I love what I do and especially love the people who make up our Odyssey Family. My primary focus is to help our community become stronger and healthier one person at a time.
